Inspired by an original 1960s design, the mills are named after John Limbrey, silversmith and model maker, who worked with Robert Welch for over 40 years.

Made from 18/10 polished stainless steel with a walnut top and featuring a fully adjustable ceramic CrushGrind® mechanism. Individually gift boxed.

When Robert Welch MBE (1929 – 2000) launched his company in 1955, he did so by setting up his drawing board and a camp bed in a disused workshop in an 18th century silk mill in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds. From there, he created some of the most famous products in British domestic design, focusing on highly functional, affordable pieces from cutlery and kitchen utensils, to champagne buckets and candlesticks. Today, two of Welch’s children, Rupert and Alice, continue to design and manufacture from the same location, carrying on their father’s legacy
